According to H-Metro, a Zimbabwean sex starved lady who couldn't control her quest for sex was caught red-handed bedding her ex-boyfriend during her honeymoon earlier this year. Kudzai Juliet Mudema, a former nurse in Gweru who got married to her husband Progress Walusi at Muzimukhulu Gardens in December 2016, was only two months into marriage before she cheated on him. During their honeymoon, it was reported that Kudzai was caught by her husband when she was having sex with her ex- boyfriend only identified as Lawrence. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Friday arraigned a Federal High Court judge, Justice Hyeladzira Nganjiwa, before Justice Adedayo Akintoye of the Lagos State High Court sitting in Igbosere, Lagos on a 14-count charge bordering on unlawful enrichment and giving false information to the EFCC. Justice Nganjiwa is facing trial for failure to disclose the source of the sum of over $260,000 that he allegedly received through his bank account between 2013 and 2015.  He also allegedly received the sum of N8.6 million from unknown sources within the same period.  The alleged offences are in contravention of Section 82(a) of the Criminal Law of Lagos State No. 11, 2011.

INEC writes Dino Melaye notifying him of receiving petitions for his recall

INEC has written a letter to Senator Dino Melaye, informing him of receiving petitions for his recall from members of his constituency in Kogi West Senatorial district. A copy of the letter above. The petition signed by 188, 588 voters, was delivered to INEC office yesterday. In the INEC letter which was signed by the commissions National Commissioner and Member of its Information and Voter Education Committee, Mohammed Haruna, INEC says the next step is to verify the registered voters in the petition.

A serial car thief was arrested in Akenfa, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State over the weekend during a stop-and-search operation, after previous arrests and detentions in Port Harcourt and Warri. The suspect, John Andrew, a dismissed soldier admitted to being a member of a syndicate responsible for snatching vehicles with master keys in Bayelsa and other states across the country. Igbinedion gives Oba of Benin seven-month old Tiger

Benin – Chief Gabriel Igbinedion, the Esama of Benin, on Friday presented a seven-month old Tiger to Oba Ewuare II, the Oba of Benin. Chief Igbinedion said he came to present the tiger as a mark of respect to the monarch in the palace. The seven-month old Tiger Oba Ewuare N’ogidigan received the gift from the Esama. The Oba’s palace was agog as many persons, including chiefs, thronged the venue to catch a glimpse of the tiger. Oba Ewuare asks parents to teach children to speak, write Bini Also the Oba of Benin has called on parents in Benin and abroad to encourage and assist their wards to speak and write in Benin language. The oba made the call when he received the three pupils he awarded scholarship during his post coronation tour of Benin speaking communities and their parents in Benin on Friday.

FOLLOWING...... the damage done to some parts of the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium Benin City by rainstorm last week, Edo State Governor, Mr Godwin Obaseki, has said the state government would refurbish the facilities damaged by the rainstorm. Governor of Edo State, Mr Godwin Obaseki While inspecting the stadium along with his Deputy, Comrade Philip Shaibu, Governor Obaseki said the facilities at the Stadium will be overhauled and upgraded. The governor, who was taken round the damaged facilities by the Asst. Director of Sports facilities, Mr Victor Edokpayi, said he was worried with the damage caused by the rainstorm particularly now that the focus is to ensure that Bendel Insurance Football Club gains promotion into the elite division.

65 persons under surveillance as Lassa Fever kills student in Anambra State
